NEW: Gas Prices Down Five Cents

The downward trend in gasoline prices in Rhode Island continues, according to AAA Southern New England.
AAA’s November 28 survey of prices in Rhode Island finds self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.41 per gallon, down five cents from last week. The current price is twelve cents above the national average for regular unleaded of $3.29. A year ago at this time Rhode Island’s average price was $3.04—thirty seven cents lower than today’s numbers.
The range in prices in the latest local AAA survey for unleaded regular is 45 cents, from a low of $3.199 to a high of $3.649.
