Monday, December 05, 2011
Gas prices dropped two cents this week, marking the third consecutive week of price decreases, according to AAA Southern New England.
A December 5 survey found the average price of self-serve, regular unleaded gasoline in Rhode Island to be $3.39 per gallon. Though two cents lower than last week’s average, the current price is still 12 cents above the national average and 33 cents above the Rhode Island average this time last year.
Prices ranged 52 cents, from a low of $3.21 to a high of $3.73.
