“Patrick Rogers is a well‐respected business and corporate lawyer. He also brings a unique perspective from his experiences in State government. We are honored that he decided to join our firm,” said Crisafulli. “In addition to resuming his business law practice, Pat will also help Hinckley Allen enhance its focus locally by chairing the firm’s newly‐created Providence Strategic Growth Committee. With Pat’s legal skills, management experience and political insight, he will be a great asset to both Hinckley Allen and its clients.”

“Patrick Rogers is a leader and talented lawyer, something that I have witnessed first‐hand in working closely with him on matters related to the Central Falls receivership ‐‐ and he is also a person of great integrity and superb judgment,” said Robert G. Flanders, Jr., former Rhode Island Supreme Court Justice and Partner and Chair of Hinckley Allen’s litigation practice. “I am excited about working with him as my Partner as we continue to grow our practice and legal team here in Rhode Island,” said Flanders.

Rogers served the Chafee administration in the dual role of Chief of Staff and Executive Counsel following the 2010 election. Prior to that, Patrick Rogers was a business law partner in the Providence office of Edwards & Angell LLP (now Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP) for 12 years, but started his legal career as a corporate law associate at Hinckley Allen where he worked from 1994 to 1997.

“Patrick Rogers is a person of many talents: creative, practical and always possessing good judgment,” Governor Chafee said. “I was pleased to have him on my team playing a variety of key roles ‐‐ on the campaign, during the transition, and throughout the first year of my administration. He always brought a high degree of professionalism, talent and energy to the job. I will continue to seek his thoughtful counsel,” Governor Chafee said.

Patrick A. Rogers is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and received his law degree from the Catholic University of America. In addition to his years as a lawyer in private practice, Pat served as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in Gabon, Central Africa for two years; worked as legislative assistant to U.S. Senator John H. Chafee in Washington, D.C. for six years; was an elected member of the East Providence City Council for three terms; served as East Providence’s Municipal Court Judge; and was town solicitor for the Town of Coventry, R.I.

Prior to being hired as Governor Chafee’s Chief of Staff and Executive Counsel, Patrick Rogers served as General Chairman and Finance Chair of Governor Chafee’s successful gubernatorial campaign, and later as Chairman of then Governor‐elect Chafee’s Transition Team.
