NEW: Flash Flood Warning Issued by National Weather Service for R.I.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning, effective until 12:30 p.m., for parts of Providence, Bristol and Kent Counties in Rhode Island.

“We are particularly concerned about the urban areas of Cranston and Warwick, Rhode Island which will likely experience significant street flooding,” said the NWS in their alert.

A flash flood watch will be in effect until 8:30 p.m.
