Dept. of Corrections Investigating Anti-Muslim Posts Allegedly Made by RI Correctional Officer
Saturday, September 02, 2017
The Rhode Island Department of Corrections is looking into anti-Muslim social media posts allegedly from a Correctional Officer including one that says, "Muslims are some of the worst people alive...we should keep them out of America."
Screen grabs of posts on Facebook, purportedly made by Patrick Curry of Pawtucket, who lists his occupation as a Rhode Island Correctional Officer, followed a Muslim Youth Rhode Island prayer event at McCoy Stadium on Friday.
Curry commented, "What is going on at McCoy Stadium with all these Muslims," and continued, "They have their music so loud you can hear it everywhere...make sure you have your weapons ready just in case."

"We are going to address it," said Kettle, of the reports.
