NEW: Dem. Party Chairman Rips Gemma Over Voter Fraud Claims
Wednesday, August 22, 2012
State Democratic Party Chairman Ed Pacheco today said Congressional candidate Anthony Gemma “offered no credible evidence that Congressman [David] Cicilline was involved” in voter fraud efforts over the last decade.

Gemma claims his hired team of investigators found evidence that individuals were paid to vote multiple times, paid to impersonate actual voters, registered to vote at business addresses, abandoned buildings and vacant lots and driven in from out-of-state to vote at multiple polling places.
Pacheco said it’s time to focus on issues.
“The voters of Rhode Island deserve more than campaign antics, they deserve solutions to the real problems they are facing every day.”

If Gemma is right, Pacheco's defense of Cicilline will be a godsend not only for Doherty but for the national Republican Party that will be able to point to Rhode Island to show how voter fraud is an issue that Democrats intentionally ignore even if a former Democratic state Attorney General is the guy delivering the evidence to law enforcement.
Keep talking, Ed!

Shame on you, Mr. Chairman.
You are a disgrace to the Democrat Party. The party that once stood for integrity, whose leaders were Pell, Pastore and Garrahy.
When confronted with voter fraud, instead of pledging to stand with the people you choose to go all in for the man who lied and cheated his way to higher office.
Do you think former AG O'Neill is lying. Do you think the retired state police are lying. Do you think the FBI and State Police investigations are sham?
Do the honorable thing and resign.
I am a lifelong Democrat and you do not represent me.

Mr. Chairman,
So you condone Cicilline saying the city finances were in good shape? You condone covering up of his brother's bounced checks? You condone illegally blocking the internal auditor and raiding the funds to keep the city afloat to aid his campaign.
And you condone voter fraud perpetrated by Cicilline and his aides?
You are drunk on the Cicilline kool aid.
You must resign. You are a terrible chairman and give true democrats a bad name. Shame on you.

Pacheco is just another young, overly ambitious politician willing to compromise his integrity to advance his political career.
But he may find a learning point in all this. The incumbent Congressman he's sucking up to today may not be his party's candidate come November.

Its amazing how the establishment is upset that one of their own is using their tried and true tactic: "it doesn't have to be true, just believable. Victory at any cost (including democracy)." We need recourse to sue anyone who knowingly throws shit against the wall to discredit another person. This includes politicians, lawyers, golocalprov, the Journal, etc. It should be a crime to be despicable. But I'm sure Ciciilline would already be broke. Whose the happiest political pig in the room? Dohrety 2012. We just don't have enough shit on him, yet.
