Congressman David Cicilline presses Secretary of State Hilary Clinton on US Policy in Afghanistan.
“My constituents are rightfully concerned when we spend billions of dollars each week rebuilding countries halfway around the world while so many urgent needs go unaddressed in our own country,” Cicilline said following the hearing. “I will continue to fight in Congress to bring our troops home as safely and expeditiously as possible and to redirect our valuable resources towards revitalizing our own infrastructure and putting our economy back on the right track.”
