Wednesday, December 22, 2010
Governor-elect Lincoln Chafee announced today that he is keeping Gov. Don Carcieri’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Jamia McDonald, who will have the same position in his administration.
McDonald will work under Chief of Staff Patrick Rogers.
“Jamia has a tremendous knowledge of Rhode Island state government and how it works,” Chafee said. “She has proved in her time at the State House to be an effective and pragmatic problem-solver, approaching challenges in a way that produces lasting results. I know that she will be a great asset to my office and to my administration as a whole.”
