NEW: California Congress Coming to Campaign for Brendan Doherty

Monday, September 10, 2012

The Doherty for Congress Campaign today announced that the Portuguese Americans for Doherty Coalition will host two events in support of the Doherty for Congress Campaign. Both events will feature U.S. Representative Devin Nunes, from California's 21st Congressional District.

The Portuguese Americans for Doherty Coalition is chaired by Alice Duarte and Manny Martins and includes members of the Portuguese American community from throughout Rhode Island.

Congressman Nunes will be the special guest at a free Doherty for Congress rally in Central Falls to be hosted by the Coalition. The Campaign rally will take place on Friday, September 21, 2012 from 5:30 to 6:30 at the Madeira Club, Madeira Avenue in Central Falls. Congressman Nunes will also attend a private fundraising event for the Doherty Campaign in East Providence.

Congressman Nunes is a member of the House Budget Committee and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and previously has served on the Resources, Agriculture, and Veterans Affairs committees. He has offered legislation to promote the development of energy resources in the United States and to support the rapid development of market-based alternative energy resources. He was named by Time Magazine as a rising political star on its “40 Under 40” list.

Re elect.......................no one!

Charles Drago

A vote for David Cicilline is a vote for Brendan Doherty.

Sleep well, Myrth York ...

David Allen

Drago, still no job prospects in Providence? But I thought the Cicilline offer was a sure thing...and so did you apparently. Well, you will get over it...probably about the time the Gemma divorce is finalized.

And I didn't know what I was talking about months ago, did I?
