Moments after Superior Court Judge Sarah Taft-Carter ruled that Providence’s pension reform deal with active police members, active firefighters and retirees was a "fair, adequate and reasonable settlement," Providence Mayor Angel Taveras applauded the decision as "an important milestone on the road to putting Rhode Island’s capital city on a fiscally sustainable path."" />

TAVERAS TWISTED TRUTH
You have no idea what you are talking about. If I broke into your house and stole anything from you, at candlestick or even a more expensive item from you safe you would say I violated you and stole from you. If I was caught by police I would spend years in jail as I should. You would feel violated as you should. It Violates the RI and United States Constitution and you all know I am right. If it makes you happy to see other older retirees suffer and now will be faced with HEAT or EAT? Medicine or rent?
Credit ratings will be destroyed further eroding our lives. I am sure if you think stealing $800.00 from me and 40 other retirees is fair and reasonable to give one sick hack at city hall a $25,000.00 raise with our money you really are just warped and miserable and deserve whatever bad Karma comes your way Japan elevates and respects its elderly; Providence just screwed the men, women and spouses of those who put their life on the line every day. I know that because my brother Michael J. Day at 49 lost his life in the line of duty never to see one day of a pension. Again you sick and bitter people probably enjoy knowing not one dime of your taxes will pay for his pension.
Michael left a wife and four beautiful children. I retired because that liar and thief “David Lies Cicilline” eliminated my position because I did not support him in his bid to STEAL from our City and your money as he ran for Mayor.
My little boy was only 3 and my daughter 7, when I was forced to retire. “DON’T’ CRY FOR ME ARGENTINA” but do “realize an injustice when you see one” or all of our children will suffer and live in a crueler world.
I work every day to take care of my children and my wife.
