BREAKING NEWS: Kilmartin Names Kempe as Public Information Officer

Attorney General-elect Peter Kilmartin has chosen Amy Kempe, the spokeswoman for Gov. Don Carcieri, to serve as his public information officer.

“Amy brings a tremendous amount of experience, in both the private and public sectors, to the Office of Attorney General,” Kilmartin said. “I look forward to working with her as we move Rhode Island towards a safer and more secure future.”

Prior to joining the governor’s office in 2008, Kempe spent eight years at Regan Communications, working as the Vice President and Team Leader. From 1997 to 2000 she was public relations supervisor for GTECH.
