RI's embattled Commissioner of Education, Deborah Gist, will continue to earn her living in the Ocean State, and her story was the week's biggest story.
It's been a highly charged several years for Rhode Island's Commissioner of Education Deborah Gist, and all eyes were on her last night as the extension of her contract was in the final stages of negotiation with the State Board of Education, which voted to extend her contract on Thursday.
