The inaugural Race the State competition is set to begin on August 9 in Little Compton. The race is a five leg, 55 mile competition that involves, running, biking, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding with the finish line located in Westerly. Race organizer Julianna Barbieri joined GoLocalProv's Kate Nagle to preview the race.
