video: GoLocalTV: Vault Bouncers Subpoenaed by City of Providence Following Shooting

Thursday, July 07, 2016

An assistant solicitor for the City of Providence announced Wednesday that two bouncers at The Vault on Federal Hill have been subpoenaed, stemming from the shooting outside of the club on June 21.

The revelation is the latest development in the aftermath of violence outside of the building formerly co-owned by Congressman David Cicilline, and currently owned solely by his brother John Cicilline.

Next Hearing Scheduled for July 14

Last week, GoLocalProv reported receiving a copy of a police report unveiling that the shooter claimed to be a member of a gang from Fall River, MA.

Following a Providence Board of Licenses meeting on Monday, June 27, at which the board voted to reopen The Vault after it was closed for five days following the shooting, the City Solicitor's office on Thursday had recommended the case be reopened, "in light of new information."
