Frigid Temperatures Arriving: How to Be Safe This Weekend

As if the snow storm wasn't enough, frigid temperatures are around the corner, and the RI Dept of Health advises all Rhode Islanders to take special precautions during these very cold days to come.

Areas of particular concern, according to HEALTH, involve seniors and extreme cold, hypothermia, exercise in the frigid temperatures (encourage but with appropriate precautions), frostbite, carbon monoxide poisoning from faulty heating systems, and of course, safe snow shoveling.
