Joanne Lipman

Former USA TODAY Editor-in-Chief Joanne Lipman will appear on GoLocal LIVE on Tuesday during the 4 p.m. show, along with American University Professor of Politics Jennifer Lawless, and Rhode Island playwright Nick Albanese.

Lipman, the author of “That’s What She Said: What Men Need to Know (and Women Need to Tell Them) About Working Together,” will be at the Providence Public Library on June 19 to discuss her new book. Lipman contends that to achieve parity in the office, “women don’t have to change — men do — and in this inclusive and realistic handbook, she offers solutions to help professionals solve gender gap issues and achieve parity at work.”

Rhode Island playwright Nick Albanese will be on during the 4 p.m. show to discuss his new play, “The Last Days of Rockin’ Rob’s” — and the interest he’s received about turning his play “The Last Sicilian” into a movie.
