GoLocalProv & 920WHJJ Team to Provide Most Comprehensive Election Coverage

Wednesday, October 31, 2012

If politics is your favorite sport, GoLocalProv and 920WHJJ are teaming up to bring you the most comprehensive pre and post game coverage you’ll find in Rhode Island on election night.

From the Presidential race to the battle in the 1st Congressional District, we’ll be on air beginning at 4pm with Helen Glover to discuss all the hottest issues and then we’ll bring you live election results as soon as the polls close. With more than 20 reporters dispersed across the state, we’ll also bring you the winners and losers from every major General Assembly race as well.

Joining us with exclusive insight will be former House Speaker and Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich to talk about President Obama and Mitt Romney as well as national political consultant Tad Devine to discuss all the key House and Senate races across the country. We’ll also hear from former Massachusetts House Speaker Tom Finneran and former Gubernatorial candidate Grace Ross on the key Brown/Warren Senate race in the Bay State. That plus all the top local political pollsters, experts and analysts to break down Rhode Island’s top races.

“We’re excited about this unique partnership,” said WHJJ Program Director Bill George. “Our combined resources allow us to provide real time election coverage on multiple platforms including radio, online and mobile. Wherever you are on Election Day, the latest news is instantly accessible to Southern New Englanders on 920 WHJJ, the iHeart Radio app, and GoLocalProv.com.”

GoLocalProv and 920WHJJ are committed to having more experts, more coverage of local races and more boots on the ground than any news outlet in the state, taking you from 4pm all the way until 10pm on election night.
