Cranston Woman Dead Following Car Crash in Johnston

A Cranston woman was identified as the victim of a fatal crash on Route 6 in Johnston early Thursday morning.
Kimberly Oliveira, 45, of 191 Pheasant Drive was pronounced dead at the scene when Rhode Island State Police arrived.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by troopers from the Scituate Barracks, the Forensic Services Unit and the Collision Reconstruction Unit.
The victim was not wearing a seatbelt.
