BREAKING: Report of Armed Gunmen on UMass Campus UPDATED

UMass Officials reported a warning 10 minutes ago of one or two armed gunmen on the UMass Amherst Campus.
A Facebook post at 6:20 pm states:
"ALERT! UMass Amherst police report one or two hostile armed persons in Pierpont Hall. Police at the scene haves established a perimeter. All persons are directed to shelter in place."

At 6:35 pm - UMass posted the following message:
"One suspect is a white male wearing a dark-colored shirt and a gold chain. Second suspect described as a white male in gray sweatshirt. Police are interviewing witnesses.
Continue to shelter in place."
