BREAKING NEWS: Raimondo Chooses Langevin Staffer to Be Spokesperson

“I am thrilled to have brought together such a strong team to help me communicate my ideas about moving our state toward financial security and sustainability,” said Raimondo. “Their dedication and experience will ensure that Rhode Islanders have a clear understanding of my mission and goals for the office.”
Raimondo also named Dara Chadwick, who worked on her campaign, to be Communications Director for the Employees’ Retirement System of Rhode Island.

Does each state office holder really need their own spokesperson? I see that the new Attorney General has also hired his own and I am sure this follows for all the general office holders plus the Governor.
That in itself is a lot of salaries and with our state in the shape it is in, could they share spokespersons and cut down on expenses?
Just a suggestion from a taxpayer.
