BREAKING: Gemma Hired Private Investigator to Look at Cicilline; Press Conference Scheduled

Democratic Congressional candidate Anthony Gemma will hold a press conference next Wednesday to explain why his campaign has hired a private investigation firm to look into voter fraud, according to a media advisory sent this morning.
“Mr. Gemma will also discuss how investigating voter fraud revealed other potential criminal actions by David Cicilline and his associates,” the advisory states. “The investigation has now attracted the attention of several federal authorities.”
The press conference will take place on Wednesday, August 22 at 12pm at Gemma’s headquarters in Providence.

The media advisory comes two days after State Rep. Leo Medina told radio host Buddy Cianci that federal authorities are investigating voter fraud in the Ocean State. The U.S. Attorney’s office has said it can neither confirm nor deny that an investigation is underway.
