BREAKING: Cicilline-Buonanno Quits Narragansett Town Council Race

Narragansett Town Council President Susan Cicilline-Buonanno has dropped out of the race to be reelected to the Narragansett Town Council, GoLocal has learned.
With just weeks to go before the November election, Cicilline-Buonanno informed the Narragansett Town Clerk that she wished to take her name off the ballot for the November 6 election.
"She didn't resign -- she's still a council member," said Narragansett Town Clerk Anne Irons when reached Friday morning."She removed herself from the race for Town Council. She sent a two sentence letter -- it was hand delivered to me."
