From bribing witnesses to involvement in a scheme to defraud the U.S. Navy of millions, these ten Rhode Island attorneys are among the worst of those who have been disciplined by the state Supreme Court for professional misconduct or personal misbehavior that affects their professional integrity.
Some are censured. Some face suspension. Others are outright disbarred—with few likely to ever return to law practice. The below cases are culled from court records for the past two terms of the state Supreme Court, from 2011 to this year.
