According to the most recent campaign finance report from the Cianci for Mayor campaign, Cianci has more than $301,000 cash on hand.

This gives Cianci a nearly two-to-one advantage over Democratic opponent Jorge Elorza. Campaign finance reports show Elorza has $160,000 cash-on-hand in his coffers.
As important as the dollars given is who is giving them -- and for Cianci, the hundreds of pages of campaign donations show a wide range of donors.
Cianci has raised over $470,000 from individuals and $5,125 from PACs. Cianci also loaned his committee $200,000.
His campaign spent a total of $373,891.

Anthony Quinn lived his later life in RI and became good friends with Cianci before his death in 2001.

Herb DeSimone's son Doug has donated to Cianci. The senior DeSimone who died this past year was Attorney General in RI, came close to winning the Governor's office and was the peacemaker in Cianci's infamous beating of developer Ray DeLeo.
DeSimone came to Cianci's house and calmed the chaos. The incident lead to Cianci being convicted of a felony and having to resign the office (the first-time).
