15 New England Colleges Rank Among Best in Country - See the Rankings

Several New England universities and colleges made the U.S. News & World Report’s 2019 national rankings that were released on Monday.
Of the top 100 colleges and universities ranked, 15 of them are from New England.
Overall, Princeton is ranked #1 in the country.

The Rankings
U.S. News & World Report provides more than 50 different types of numerical rankings and listings for schools
The rankings evaluate the colleges based on different academic areas.
Harvard is ranked as the best university in New England, followed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Yale, who are tied for third.
Dartmouth College and Brown University round out the top five New England schools.
The University of Vermont is ranked the lowest of the New England schools, coming in at 96 overall.
