Thayer Street Landlords are Playing Monopoly, Says What Cheer’s Daltry
Friday, May 19, 2017
Chris Daltry with What Cheer Records at the corner of Thayer and Angell spoke to the business closing at the end of May -- and what he sees as taking place on Thayer Street.
"They're searching for the highest rent they can get and that doesn't include the businesses that have been there for decades," said Daltry.
"People are pretty bummed -- but we're not going out of business," added Daltry, in his wide-ranging interview with GoLocal News Editor Kate Nagle on GoLocal LIVE on Thursday.
