Spencer Sullivan, former Scalise staffer

Following the revelation on Tuesday that the United States Senate won't be voting this week on legislation to repeal Obamacare, Rhode Island native and DC political consultant Spencer Sullivan spoke to what he sees as next steps for the Republicans.
"You have [the] conservative wing and more moderates, what you want to track is the money," Sullivan told GoLocal's Kate Nagle on GoLocal LIVE on Tuesday. "With the CBO score -- $320 billion will be saved from budget -- which gives McConnell some money to play with, to either make the conservatives happy, or the moderates happy."
"If you want to see where this will lead, in terms of low hanging fruit -- it seems conservatives are more open to this than a [Senator] Collins who, might need more," said Sullivan.

Congressional Shooting

On the day of the shooting at the Congressional softball game shooting targeting House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, as well as Capitol police, and staff, Rhode Island native and former Scalise staffer Sulllivan spoke with GoLocal News Editor Kate Nagle on LIVE, about the reaction inside the Beltway.  WATCH HERE
