Eric Auger

Eric Auger, the co-founder and creative director of TEN31 Productions, joined GoLocal LIVE’s Chelsea Guay to talk about the companies non-profit organization Revel Factory and the signature Halloween immersive event they are hosting this year, titled "Underland."

Performance art company, TEN31 Productions – known locally for the living statues at Waterfire  – open the doors to their art space, Revel Factory, for an event that combines living art with all things frightening this Halloween season. Normally the TEN31 team hosts the Mysterium Ball alongside the Providence Public Library, but due to construction at the library this year the team has decided to create their own haunted experience in "Underland."

"This year's event is like nothing we've done before. Shows will be scheduled every half hour. Guests arrive for their scheduled time slot and are let into Underland (a twisted version of Wonderland) to explore the world, interact with the characters, and see if they can figure out what is really going on" explained Auger.

Much of the discussion on GoLocal LIVE  - WATCH ABOVE -  was about Revel Factory as a whole, as well as what attendees can expect from the Underland event.

Underland will be taking place on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays starting October 18th. On closing night be sure to attend the Underland Ball (21+). Guests of the ball are encouraged to wear costumes and immerse themselves amongst the props and set design: the entire evening takes place on the set of Underland. $50 prize for best costume.
