Thursday, September 28, 2017
Ray "Two Hawks" Watson said that he feels "vindicated" in the battle between the Pokanoket tribe and Brown University after weeks of negotiation, over lands in Bristol that the Pokanoket say is rightfully theirs.
And while Brown and Pokanoket tribe members, who had encamped on Brown's property in Bristol since August 20, announce they reached an "agreement" regarding the future of the land, Watson said the move is just the first step in what could be a protracted process moving forward.
