Kristin MacRae with Organizing in RI says having an organized kitchen will save you time, money, and will reduce your stress level. She says now is a good time to organize your kitchen, especially if you are entertaining and cooking over the holiday season.
To create a kitchen that is efficient and productive follow these seven steps:
1. Think about your kitchen

2. Organize your food pantry
3. Organize and take inventory of baking items
4. Get food off top of fridge
5. Go through all your spices
6. Seasonal Items
MacRae suggests removing any items that you only use on special occasions and find storage in closet or basement.
7. Appliances
Bonus step: Plastic food containers
MacRae says get all of your Tupperware organized now. Use extras to send leftovers home with guests during the holidays.
