If you need to clear land, get rid of poison ivy or invasive plants, Wayne Pitman with Laurel Hill MicroFarm says goats can be a great environmentally friendly resource if used the right way.

It’s a term called ‘goatscaping’ and Pitman says his goats, officially registered as the “Herd of Hope” with the American Dairy Goat Association, clears land all over New England.

Pitman explains that goats get rid of invasive plants and because no chemicals are used, you can replant right away.
