LIVE: Bios Urn, A Biodegradable Urn That Grows A Tree From Ashes
Saturday, August 19, 2017
Roger Moliné CEO and co-founder of Bios Urn says their biodegradable, eco-friendly urn offers people an opportunity to remember loved ones in a natural and sustainable way.
Moliné says the idea behind Bios Urn is to turn the “death” process into regeneration and return to life through nature.
“We totally think this can be beneficial for someone from a phycological point of view,” Moliné says.
Bios Urn is a biodegradable urn made of recycled materials, covered in a layer of fertilizer designed to grow a tree. The company states that once the ashes are poured in and the urn is planted, a tree from a seed of your choice will grow.
