Tony Lepore, Sr.

Tony Lepore Sr., the "Dancing Cop" whose comments in 2015 following the incident in which a Dunkin' Donuts worker wrote "#BlackLivesMatter" on a police officer's cup saw him fired from both Providence and East Providence events, spoke with GoLocalProv News Editor Kate Nagle about being removed from the upcoming South Kingstown Firefighters Relief Association parade.

Lepore said that he is not racist, after commenting online back in 2015 that he questioned the tactics of the #BLM movement -- and said that the woman who started the petition to remove him from the South Kingstown parade herself acknowledged that he is not.

Have participated in the parade for the last 6 years, Lepore spoke to how he intends to continue to perform in other communities.
