Aponte on Blue Cross Taking Jobs Out of Providence, Community Safety Act, and More, on GoLocal LIVE
Thursday, April 20, 2017
City Council President Luis Aponte appeared on GoLocal LIVE on Wednesday to discuss his concerns about Blue Cross moving jobs from its downtown office tower to East Providence, after having gotten a tax stabilization agreement in 2007 under the pretense of adding jobs -- and revenue -- to the city.
Aponte also spoke to hotel construction, the amended community safety act, and other critical matters before the council, this week in Providence.
