Wickford Art Festival Accepting Artist Applications

The Wickford Art Association is now accepting Applications from fine art artist to the upcoming 53rd  Wickford Art Festival. The festival will be held on July 11 and 12 of 2015  in Wickford Village, RI. 

The application period begins on February 1 and all applications must be postmarked by April 1 in order to be considered by a jury.

Being an artist at the Wickford Art Festival comes with several benefits: 

  • Artists retain 100% of their sales.
  • Juried fine art festival - no crafts or functional art.
  • No sales tax on fine art.
  • 10' x 10' booths are $240, plus jury fee.
  • Booth sitters available for brief periods.
  • Free parking.
  • Established arts destination with up to 75,000 visitors during the two day event.

The Wickford Art Festival is one of the longest running outdoor fine arts festivals in New England, consisting of up to 250 artists from all over the country displaying their art.

Wickford Art Festival

The Wickford Art Association is proud to be the promoter of the 52nd Wickford Art Festival. This juried fine art festival features over 200 fine art artists from New England, the US and beyond.  Admission is free for visitors!
Artists and visitors enjoy the outdoor festival set on the streets of historic Wickford Village. Eclectic shops and classic homes line the streets as visitors stroll through the seaside village, meeting the artists and seeking out exceptional artwork to admire and purchase. Fine art mediums include oil, acrylic, mixed media, glass, drawing, etching, sculpture (metal, clay, wood, etc), photography, etchings, modern ink, fiber, and more.

Newport Antiques Show, Middletown

Established in 2007, The Newport Antiques Show is one of the nation’s premier antiques venues presenting a wide selection of important Americana antiques. Over forty of the country’s top dealers present paintings, furniture, folk art, jewelry, and fine and decorative arts. Show Manager Diana H. Bittel, who is a distinguished antiques dealer and annual exhibitor, hand selects each dealer. Anne F. Hamilton of Newport and Philadelphia is the Show Chair; Honorary Chairs include Mrs. Samuel M.V. Hamilton, Mrs. Robert H. Charles and Mrs. John R. Donnell.

A benefit for the Newport Historical Society and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Newport County, featuring over forty of the finest dealers from across the United States, the glamorous annual Newport Antiques Show has something for everyone.

Tiverton Four Corners Arts and Artisans Festival

Pawtucket Arts Festival

September 5-28, 2014

Since its inception, Pawtucket’s arts festival has created a citywide showcase of visual and performing arts, interactive workshops, music, theatre, and dance performances.

The festival features one-of-a kind art exhibits and musical performances.

Musical groups include Rhode Island Philharmonic Pop Orchestra, Duke Robillard Blues Band, Planet Grove, and Blackstone Valley Heritage Series.

Other highlights are performances at the Everett Dance Theatre and the Sandra Gamm Feinstein Theatre.

Festival Fete's East Greenwich Art Festival

East Greenwich will host the fourth annual East Greenwich Art Festival on August 23rd and 24th from 10 am to 5 pm at the new NE Tech campus located on Division Road in East Greenwich.  The art festival will feature over 150 contemporary American art and crafts artists along with strolling entertainment including Rhode Island’s Big Nazo.  The festival will feature items big and small including jewelry, ceramics, paintings, sculpture, fiber and home accessories.
