video: Warwick Animal Clinic Helps Dog “Walk” After Broken Legs

Tuesday, March 08, 2016

Charlie the dog is off and running -- thanks to the help of the staff at the Rhode Island Animal Medical Center Four Paws Pet Resort in Warwick.

"It's a staff member's dog, who accidentally had his legs broken in a door," said Chad Callanan with Four Paws. "So we hospitalized him for six months, changing his casts and keeping him healthy."

"Many of staff donated their time," said Callanan. "In most cases the animal would have been euthanized."
