URI Men’s Basketball Going Pink for Gemma Foundation

Saturday, February 05, 2011

It's time to get pink, and the URI Men's Basketball team will be donning the color this week to support breast cancer research as part of the Gloria Gemma Foundation's annual fundraiser.

The 5th Annual URI Pink Out Game presented by South County Hospital is set for February 9th at 7pm as the Runnin’ Rams take on Dayton. All proceeds generated from the event will benefit the Gloria Gemma Foundation and will help raise awareness for breast cancer research. T-shirt and ticket packages begin for as little as $15.

Individual T-Shirts will also be on-sale for $6 at various locations in South County and on the URI Campus.

For more information or to get ytickets and t-shirts log on to URIPinkout.com or call -874-RAMS (7267).
