Local filmmaker Tim Gray now has matching statues.
The Kingston-based documentarian snagged his second New England Emmy this weekend for Outstanding Documentary Program Writing in his latest film, Navy Heroes of Normandy. His videographer, Jim Karpeichik, also took home top honors for his work on the film.

Gray’s two documentary films on WWII are currently airing nationally on PBS stations around the country and internationally. “It’s an honor to share these amazing stories with so many people," he said. "We are losing 1,000 WWII vets a day, 30,000 a month. Soon all we will have are these films,” he said.
