SEEN: The Sopranos Invade Mohegan Sun

Wednesday, March 20, 2013

It was all fun and games for Sopranos stars Lorraine Brocco and James Gandolfini at Mohegan Sun this weekend. Photo: Mohegan Sun

The biggest mob in Hollywood had a ball when they rendezvoused this past weekend at Mohegan Sun. The cast of The Sopranos - cable TV’s most financially successful series in history - met in Uncasville, CT  for a exclusive players event hosted by Mohegan Sun. The at-capacity private event included a Q&A session with Mohegan Sun players and the show’s cast members: Jamie-Lynn Sigler, James Gandolfini, Lorraine Bracco, Michael Imperioli, Steven Schirripa, Tony Sirico, John Ventimiglia and Vincent Curatola. The rare reunion continued post-event as witnesses spotted The Sopranos gang dining at Ballo Italian Restaurant and Social Club (located on property) and striking a pose inside Mohegan Sun’s Shine 360 paparazzi photo booth.

She said what? Claudia Jordan eyes Omarosa and LaToya Jackson on the latest episode of NBC's All-Star Celebrity Apprentice.

Rhode Island's own Claudia Jordan continues to stay alive on NBC's All-Star Celebrity Apprentice. Surrounded by stars, the former Who Wants To Be a Millionaire briefcase bella and Miss Universe pageant host held her own again this week, delivering one of the best lines of Episode Two. When Donald Trump asked Jordan if Apprentice villainesse Omarosa was nasty, tough or smart, Claudia answered "all three." Asked if she liked Omarosa, Jordan paused before saying that outside of the show she actually considers her a friend.

It's not a week in Rhode Island if a celebrity chef isn't in town, and everyone's excitedly awaiting the March appearance in Providence of the Barefoot Contessa herself, Ina Garten. Garten will be appearing at the Providence Performing Arts Center on March 26. The best-selling cookbook author and star of Food Network’s Barefoot Contessa will share the stage with Al Forno owner and chef Johanne Killeen, who will help moderate the show and take questions from the audience. We wonder where Ina will sup post-show...
