The Rhythm & Roots Festival, held annually at Ninigret Park in Charlestown on Labor Day weekend is a Rhode Island summer ritual, and the popular festival has just announced its lineup for 2012.  Now in its 15th year, the festival boasts 4 stages of music and something for everyone with a family tent for kids, dance lessons, all day and evening dancing on 2 dance floors, gourmet food and drink, and the best that roots music has to offer. Weekend camping is available and parking is free.

Having become a destination event, the Festival draws fans from all over the country to the beach communities of southern Rhode Island for the weekend. It was named among the Top 100 Events in North America by the American Bus Association. Check out the all-star lineup, and don't forget to book your tickets now.
