Rhode Island’s Ocean House Named Top 10 Hotel in US

Ranked in the magazine’s top resort list for a second consecutive year, the Ocean House is the first and only AAA Five-Diamond Hotel in Rhode Island. The OH! Spa, making its debut on the magazine’s top 10 overall hotel spa list, is the only Forbes Five-Star spa in the state and among only 30 spaces in the world to achieve the Five-Star rating. This 12,000 square foot destination spa also has a heated, salt-water pool facing the Seaside Terrace’s sun deck in addition to a fitness center that offers movement and yoga classes, cardiovascular machines, and strength training options.

This year, Ocean House ranked behind the top two ranked hotel resorts in Sea Island, Georgia–The Lodge and The Cloister. Along with #8 Nantucket’s White Elephant resort in Massachusetts, the Watch Hill resort was one of the two only New England resort in the top 10. Other awarded Rhode Island properties include the small and historic Weekapaug Inn in Westerly, which debuted as the #5 in the Top Inns in the U.S. (and is a sister property to Ocean House).
