Tunnels of Terror
8th Annual Fortress of Nightmares, Newport
The days of the world as we know it have passed. Newport has been ravaged by the worst disease that mankind has ever known, whereupon the infected do not die, but become undead. Those inside Fort Adams have somehow managed to remain uninfected, but how long will it stay that way? Horror lurks around every corner and no place–no quarantine zone or military facility–is safe. Will you survive in a world overrun by the undead?
8th Annual Fortress of Nightmares, Fort Adams, Newport. 7-10pm, October 19 & 20, 26-28.

"Murder University"
Lincoln
You want Halloween gore? Be careful what you wish for. Filmmaker Richard Marr-Griffin's Rhode Island-casted, filmed, and edited horror flick is rated V for Violence and is a homage to the classic slasher films of the 1980's. Tuition isn't the only killer at this New England college, where a bloodthirsty killer (or even killers) is on the loose and only shy freshman Josh Greene, a detective, and his daughter can hope to stop the gruesome crimes…but only if they don't become victims themselves.
Get more info here. October 31, 7pm. CinemaWorld, 622 George Washington Highway, Lincoln.

Lovecraft's classic tale The Shunned House is based. Bring a paranormal skeptic along on this spooky Ghost Walk and turn them into a believer.
