Rhode Island Tattoo Expo Coming May 11-13

Tattoo aficionados from all over New England will flock to Rhode Island in May for the Rhode Island Tattoo Expo.

While Rhode Island's flowers will be blooming this May, there will be a whole different set of bright colors blooming May 10-12 at the Rhode Island Convention Center.

And all of it will be ink.

As one of the country's premier tattoo conventions showcasing the latest trends and techniques within the tattoo world, the Rhode Island Tattoo Expo will be back the spring and will feature an astonishing assortment of industry leading and local tattoo artists, studios, vendors, and some 10,000 attendees.

From education to entertainment

The expo enjoys a reputation as an educational forum and overall entertaining spectacle on many levels including tattooing, body piercing, body modification, permanent cosmetics, laser removal, as well as the newest trends in art, music, fashion and more.

Packed into the Rhode Island Convention Center amidst the atmosphere of historic downtown Providence, the cutting edge event has become an alternative cultural phenomenon and is eagerly anticipated by thousands across not only New England, but throughout the rest of the country as well.

Who will be there

This year's event includes over 300 Industry renowned as well as celebrity tattoo artists (including Jack Rudy, Bob Tyrrell, Big Gus, and Tony Olivas), Live Tattooing & Piercing, Fine Art Galleries, Custom & Classic Hot Rods & Choppers, Live Music & Entertainment, Tattoo Cinema, Art Fusion, Contests & Awards, Fashion Show, Ms. Rhode Island Tattoo Pageant, Kids Area, Unique Vendors, Special Guests and much more.

Expo hours are from 5pm to 11pm on Friday, 12noon to 11pm on Saturday and 12noon to 6pm on Sunday. Individual tickets as well as three day weekend passes can be purchased either in advance via Ticketmaster or at the Rhode Island Convention Center box office at any time throughout the duration of the event.
