Rhode Island College to Host Grad Studies Open House

Friday, January 06, 2012

Graduate courses in creative writing, biology, nursing and more, at RIC.

Did you know Rhode Island College offers graduate studies in Mathematics? How about Mental Health Counseling? Accounting or Financial Planning? Find out about these and many more opportunities at RIC's Graduate Studies Open House on Tuesday, January 10, from 3-6pm.

Learn about RIC's 47 graduate degree programs and meet with representatives from Financial Aid and Career Development. You can even register for spring classes on-site.

And there's a financial incentive. A Metropolitan Tuition Policy for out-of-state residents allows RIC graduate students whose permanent place of residence is within a 50-mile radius of Providence to be eligible for in-state tuition rates plus 50 percent. Further, the college's $50 Graduate Application Fee will be waived for all applicants who attend the Open House (not applicable to the doctoral program).

To register online, go here or call 456-9723.

Rhode Island College Graduate Studies Open House, Tuesday Jan 10, 3-6pm, Student Union Ballroom. RI College, 600 Mount Pleasant Ave, Providence, 456-8000. Snow date: Jan 12, 3-6pm.
