Providence’s Own Deer Tick Announces Fall Tour

Friday, August 27, 2010

While some might describe Providence’s own Deer Tick's rise to fame “meteoric,” the indie/folk/rock band would likely challenge the claim as they have poured their life into writing and recording two full-length albums, including The Black Dirt Sessions, released in June, and an EP over the past 24-months. Supporting the music, they’ve toured relentlessly and are about to hit the road again, having just announced a month-long tour that kicks off across the pond with shows in the UK, Paris, Ireland, Amsterdam, Belgium and Germany, then heading to the American South and over to the West Coat before returning back East to rock their New England roots. The band is also set to release a documentary, To the City of Sin, filmed over three months in 2008 capturing life on the road. Check out tour dates here.
