PPS Winter Bash Brings Miami to Providence
Wednesday, February 02, 2011
The Providence Preservation Society (PPS) will be celebrating like it’s 1983 with a Miami Vice-themed Annual Winter Bash. In it’s eighth year, the festive fête this Saturday night teases revelers to “slip on your shades, roll up your jacket sleeves, and party like Crockett and Tubbs.”
Bash Benefits Non-Profit PPS
“The Winter Bash celebrates the unusual and varied architecture of Providence by each year occupying an unexpected and architecturally distinctive space,” James Brayton Hall, PPS Executive Director told GoLocalProv.com. “Party goers get a glimpse into some of the city’s most interesting buildings, while the cost of admission helps preserve Providence’s rich architectural heritage.”
Davol Square, an iconic Providence 1980s redevelopment nestled in the heart of the Jewelry district, will be the apropos setting for Saturday’s soirée.
