On The Couch with Ann Hood, Part 2

Monday, May 10, 2010

As novelist Ann Hood's new novel, The Red Thread, appears in stores nationwide this week, and she travels the region doing readings and talks, she took time to talk with Tracey Minkin about her youth in West Warwick, and how a surly Italian grandmother may have inspired her first work of fiction.

To hear Ann discuss the inspiration behind the new book, watch her first On The Couch.

And to follow Ann online, and see when she's reading nearby, go here.

Hopefully at the end of the disappearing grandmother stories they find the grandmother!

I couldn't put down The Red Thread this weekend. Beautiful, touching, thought-provoking novel. Highly recommend it!
