Questlove of The Roots

The Newport Jazz Festival has announced a third wave of performers coming to Newport for the 2017 festival.

The third wave brings in well-known artists like The Roots, Philadelphia Experiment featuring Questlove and more.

"As this third wave of artists for the 2017 Newport Jazz Festival sweeps the shores of the Narragansett Bay, it feels like you might be in a tsunami; but you will not be drowning, you will be swimming in a sea of the finest traditional and contemporary jazz. Having already seen the first two waves, which includes Maceo Parker, Snarky Puppy and Andra Day, here is wave three,” said producer and founder George Wein.
