NEW: RISD, Brown + URI Grad Schools Named Tops By US News

RISD was named tops in its field by US News & World Report in the latest Grad Schools 2014 ranking.

Brown University, the University of Rhode Island, the Rhode Island School of Design and 2 other Rhode Island colleges have just been named as having among the best graduate schools in the nation, according to US News & World Report’s Best Graduate Schools 2014. The ranking reviewed more than 1,250 graduate schools and programs in over 35 disciplines to rank the best in the nation.

RI School of Design (RISD)

RISD was awarded the #2 spot in Fine Arts Studies, beating out all but Yale University. In Graphic Design, Industrial Design, and Printmaking, RISD was ranked the best graduate school in the nation.

Providence College, Bryant, University, and Roger Williams University did not make the ranking.
