NEW: Providence Lady Project to Host Women’s Summit April 13

The Providence Lady Project will be hosting a "Lady Project Summit" on Saturday, April 13 at Anchor and Firehouse 13.
The Lady Project Summit is sponsored by MOO, BUST magazine, the Rhode Island Small Business Journal, PS&H WAVE (Women AdVocates for Enterprise), Visual Magnetics, Smart Creative Women and DCI.
Founded in 2011 by Julie Sygiel of Dear Kate and Sierra Barter of Clementine Lime, the mission of the Providence Lady Project is to "connect, inspire, and showcase awesome women doing amazing things in Providence."
GET THE LATEST BREAKING NEWS HERE -- SIGN UP FOR GOLOCAL FREE DAILY EBLASTThe Summit on April 13 will start at Firehouse 13 with a light breakfast and feature a kick-off keynote speaker, Debbie Stoller, co-founder and Editor-and-Chief of BUST magazine before heading into a round of workshops at Anchor across the street. After two rounds of workshops, lunch will take place at Firehouse 13 and Dr. Barbara Tannenabaum from Brown University will give tips on persuasive communication.
After lunch will be more rounds of workshops and a special "Lightening Round" with fun tips like “How to Make A Perfect Cocktail” with Jen Ferreia from Cook & Brown, the “Perfect Top Knot” by Lulu Locks of Suite Tart and "Yoga at Your Desk" with Liz Guardia from Lululemon.
Following the Lightening Round will be the final keynote speaker, Paya Saha from The Kati Roll Company, followed by mingling for the rest of the evening with DJ La Rochelle, BUST and plenty of cocktails and apps.
Fun activities between workshops include a special spa station by Alayne White Spa and headshots by PVD Lady Project photographer, Jen Brister from Brister Photo and a WAVE table with attorneys from PS&H WAVE where attendees can ask legal questions.
